>> We also look into a new report on Medicare Advantage overpayments nearing $1 trillion. We explain how that number came to be and what can be done moving forward.

We, in the Single Payer Universal Healthcare / National Improved Medicare for All movement have a few ideas. How long will Americans allow Medicare Advantage and commercial health insurance investment banks to impose Denial of Care Harm-for-Profit on our fellow citizens and how long will physicians, nurses, medical residents and business owners accept a business model that obstructs medical care for profit? Another 45 more years? Should this be a moral and ethical conversation? Is it time? Or, 30 more years of the same conversations over and over about Medicare Advantage and no way to stop bad actors... what's the rush, right?

When you talk about measles in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, I think it's important to know the wackadoo extremist religious political debacles that have been going on there for several years now. This is where the NAR preacher covid denier was streaming out covid conspiracies and the town was taken over by moms for liberty and whatnot. There's been weird thing after weird thing politically there. The school board was taken over. Etc.

It got so out of hand that in 2025, a democrat won the state senate seat there for the first time since the 1800s and it was widely seen as a backlash because it was considered impossible.
